What advice would you give first-time eduWeb Digital Summit attendees who are looking to make the most of the conference?
“I would recommend every attendee sit in on at least one presentation that’s outside the track that best fits their job description. It may feel intimidating but it will likely open up your eyes to a whole new set of priorities and knowledge from those you work closely with. If you’re not sure what to pick, talk to your co-workers and ask what you should report back on! I’d also encourage EVERYONE to attend the social events and branch out to meet new people! If you are attending the conference with others from your institution, make an effort to meet someone new or ‘adopt’ someone for dinner who is the lone wolf from their institution.”

What themes do you expect to emerge in your track this year?
“I’m so excited for this track because it’s got something for everyone. Presenters are going to look at data in a new way and also discuss how data analysis can benefit (and be implemented by) an entire institution. If you work on social, content, or web there’s going to be a presentation you won’t want to miss!”

Have you visited Boston before? What are you most excited to see and do?
“This will be my second time in Boston and I can’t wait to be back! On the top of my list are the amazing aquarium, going on a duck boat tour, and eating five-star clam chowdah!”
